I am done with Rediff Bol as of now. Now I can
1. login and display the buddy list
2. get notified of buddy status changes and display accordingly
3. do 1-to-1 chat (incoming messages are displayed with correct font/color/smileys)
4. join sleazy rediff chat rooms
5. change my own status
6. view/edit my avatar
7. pick my nick name
8. view/delete offline messages
I learned some Java Swing on the way. I will start continued work on this later on, as I am moving to another US city. Also I'll need to get access to a personal machine - planning to dual boot an MS OS with Gutsy Gibbon. (more on this later). See ya later !
Update: Surprisingly, there's demand for this thing.
